Fish: brain food?

Q: I READ that eating fish will help with memory. Can you tell me about some of the foods that can help the brain as you age? - Suzana, Seremban

FARAH DIBA: The B-group vitamins play a vital role in regulating the brain?s various functions, including memory. Thiamine, which is found in nuts, beans, peas, lentils and meat, has beneficial effects on one's memory.

It has also been suggested that choline, found in lecithin (derived from egg yolk and soya beans) also boosts declining memory. -The Star/ANN
