Cadbury Boost chocolate bar recalled in Singapore

The Cadbury Boost Totally Nuts chocolate bar is to be recalled from the local market with immediate effect, said the Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) today.

The recall is due to the possible presence of plastic pieces in the bars from the manufacturing process. Only Cadbury Boost Totally Nuts (60g) with the "15-06-09 Best Before" date is affected.

The AVA's action follows the voluntary recall of the product in Australia by Cadbury Schweppes.

The AVA advises consumers who have bought the implicated product not to consume the product. For queries, consumers can call AVA's hotline at 1800-226 2250.
