She putted, she swung, she scored. Kee Yen Ling, 30, was one of the big winners at the recent Her World Golf Challenge, taking away the afternoon session's championship with a handicap of 13 and score of 38.

We find out how this sporty beauty, who works in a golf club-fitting company, stays tanned and toned.

Why did you start playing golf?

I started playing golf when i was 16 when my dad needed to pick up golf for his business. He asked the whole family to play so that we could all golf together.

How do you keep yourself fit?

I love to jog and will try to jog 5km twice weekly. I'll also go to the range and the golf course at least once a week.

What's your diet like?

I eat everything but in moderation. I have a sweet tooth and will indulge in a waffle ice cream once a week, if possible.

What do you like to do when you're not playing golf?

This is a tough question. Whenever I have free time, I will be on the golf course. I guess I'd most probably be fishing with my family at Pulau Ubin or hanging out with my sisters.

How do you pamper yourself after a game or a hard workout?

A nice massage once a month! And facial if i do find time.

Do you think that golf is a sedentary sport?

Definitely not! You need to be both mentally and physically strong to be able to play the game well. It is not just as simple as "chasing after a little white ball". I always ask the guys who say that to try it out. And they'll come back telling me that it's not as simple as how they thought it would be.
