French man dies apparently of overdose of impotence drug

Pattaya, Chon Buri - A French man died apparently of recreational use of impotence drug in this seaside town early Tuesday morning, police said.

The man, identified by his French passport as Attla Yvan Samnel, 35, was found dead at 9:30 am inside a rented room on the third floor of a townhouse on Jomthien Beach Road in Bang Lamung district.

Prom Khorjonsuk, 35, a bar girl, 35, told police that the man visited the bar on the ground floor of the building at 2 am and hired her Bt1,000 to have sex with him.

Prom said the man had slept with her once. He then took several pills of Dormilax impotence drug and asked to sleep with her again, but she excused herself out of the room and came back in the morning to find that he had already died.

The man body was sent to the Forensic Medicine Institute of the Police Hospital for an autopsy.
