New arrival: Oral-B CrossAction Pro-Health

Launched in Singapore last month, the CrossAction Pro-Health (above) builds on Oral-B's unique CrissCross bristles - featuring bristles angled in opposing directions to remove more plaque.

The new manual toothbrush also features the PowerTip for better cleaning along the gum line, soft outer gum stimulators on either side of the brush head to massage the gums, and a textured tongue cleaner on the back of the brush.

What we think

Besides the solid cleaning properties the CrossAction range is known for, one of the most apparent plus points we found with the Pro-Health was how it gently massaged the gums during brushing. The in-built tongue cleaner is a useful addition for those who find the bristles too harsh on the tongue, though we think the tongue still looks cleaner if we stick with the bristles.

One tester returned to using her Oral-B Indicator toothbrush after trying out the CrossAction Pro-health for a week. She found that CrissCross bristles found in the latter was more effective in cleaning the areas in between her teeth compared to the non-angled, straight-up bristles of the Indicator toothbrush.
