MALAYSIA - DIABETES and high blood pressure will affect a man's sex life, China Press reported yesterday.

Quoting specialist Datuk Dr Low Bin Tick, the report said most men who experienced erectile dysfunction (ED) were too shy to seek medical treatment.

Instead, they chose to "solve" the problem by using Viagra or other similar drugs, he said.

Dr Low said men aged 40 and above may not suffer from ED but men aged 55 and above were likely to.

He said men with ED should seek medical treatment before taking any drug.

He said drugs to treat ED may not be suitable for all men, especially those taking drugs for other diseases.

'Heart patients should not be taking Viagra,' said Dr Low.
