Nestle milk products 'safe to eat'

my paper

NESTLE Singapore has assured consumers that all its milk products are safe for consumption.

All Nestle milk powders in Singapore - including Nan, Lactogen, Neslac, Nespray, Nesvita, Nestle Everyday and Nestle Omega Plus - are sourced from Australia, New Zealand, Europe or the US, the company says in a press statement.

The same holds true for dairy-based products, including Nestle Milo, Nestle Ice Cream and Nestle Yogurt. Nestle Singapore does not import any milk powders from China.

All milk powders supplied to Nestle are checked for safety and quality.

Nestle says it applies strict quality-control measures and risk assessments at all levels of its raw-material sourcing and manufacturing process.

It adds that it complies with the strictest safety standards.

Consumers can call Nestle Call Centre on 6836-7200, from 9am to 5pm on weekdays, for further enquiries.
