Deputy minister has dengue

IPOH, MALAYSIA: Deputy Information Minister Datuk Tan Lian Hoe has been hospitalised for dengue.

The Gerakan Wanita chief was warded at the Kuala Lumpur Hospital on Friday for treatment after having a persistent fever.

When contacted, Tan, who is also Perak Wanita chief, said it was confirmed that she had dengue and that her blood platelet count was low.
