Singapore has confirmed one more case of Influenza A (H1N1-2009), bringing the total number of confirmed cases to 18, according to the country's Ministry of Health.

The latest case is a 36-year-old Filipino female who works in Singapore.

She returned to Singapore from Manila on June 8 at 1835 hours, onboard Philippine Airlines PR501, where she was seated at row 6.

She was admitted to Communicable Disease Centre (CDC) for further assessment the next day, and laboratory results have confirmed her infection.

According to an MOH statement she has relatively mild symptoms and is in stable condition.

Contact tracing has been initiated for the latest confirmed case.
Passengers within rows 4 to 8 on PR501 on 8 June who have not been contacted by MOH yet should call the MOH hotline at 1800-333 9999 to enable us to check on their health condition expeditiously. All close contacts identified will be quarantined and provided with antiviral prophylaxis.

More on the 16th and 17th cases.
