2 million people expected to contract A H1N1 flu in 2 months

Public Health Ministry estimated that over 2 million people will be infected with the new flu virus during the next two months.

About 70 per cent of infected people will not show symptom while 30 per cent will have influenza like illness and 20 per cent will need treatment at hospital.

"We have to tell people urgently about the infection prevention and health promotion," The Department of Disease Control's senior health expert, Dr Kamnuan Ungchoosak said Tuesday. -The Nation/Asia News Network
