Unclog those pores

Described by maker Origins as a one-step home alternative to micro-dermabrasion, Modern Friction is a creamy buffing paste which promises to restore and revitalise sluggish cell turnover and de-clog pores without reddening or flaking the skin.

It contains rice starch - which is naturally sticky and helps to remove dirt and oil on the skin - and also soothing and anti-irritant ingredients like aloe leaf juice, cucumber extract and lemon and bergamot oils.

Available at Origins counters in stores like Isetan Scotts, Robinsons and Tangs VivoCity at $77 for a 125ml jar.

Engineered to give comfort

The world's first silicone hydrogel daily disposable contact lenses, 1-Day Acuvue TruEye, promises to set new standards in contact lens usage and eye health.

Users can expect less redness, tiredness and dryness of the eyes due to a combination of advanced materials and technology.

The lenses will be available from July 8 at selected optical outlets at $64 per box of 30 lenses.

Specially for baby

Specially for baby Simple Baby products are hypoallergenic and dermatologically approved by paediatricians. To suit the sensitive skin of infants, they are 100 per cent perfume and colour free, contain no unnecessary additives and keep skin hydrated. All wash and bath products are also no-tears tested. The shampoo, lotion, wash and wipes are now available exclusively at Watson stores. Prices range from $9.90 to $14.90.
