AFTER reading many reports and letters on the issue of organ trading, I would like to ask if the cloning of healthy organs is the answer.

I can understand why some, if not many, people believe that the sale of organs should be banned and we must respect these beliefs.

Perhaps the answer to the supply shortage lies in the cloning of healthy organs. We have already cloned Dolly the sheep, so it is not impossible to clone healthy organs to save lives.
