The Agri-Food and Veterinary Authority (AVA) said in a statement that a team inspected dairy farms, milk collection centres and food processing establishments and assessed the overall control system in China.

The inspection team was satisfied with the control measures in place to ensure that Chinese milk and milk products imported into Singapore are not contaminated with melamine.

AVA will continue to monitor the products imported into Singapore to ensure they are safe for consumption.
